Jeff Bakeris

Owner and Roofing Specialist

I'm a second-generation roofing contractor from Bettendorf, IA. After college, my first job was working for a roofing consulting company out of Cedar Rapids, IA. I did full-time inspections and maintenance programs while helping to design roof systems for both commercial and industrial customers. 

I moved to Altoona, IA with my wife, Carol, and started a family in 1990. This is when I opened Bakeris Roofing. Carol has always been my biggest supporter. We have three children, twin boys and a daughter. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and I like being outdoors. I like camping, bicycling, and hunting. When time is available, I enjoy traveling with my family.

Working with my father growing up, the two things he instilled in me were a great work ethic and taking care of the people you work for. At Bakeris Roofing we have a great team to make sure your needs come first.

Dawn Gee

General Manager

I've been married since 1985 to my husband, Steve. We have three children and eight grandchildren. I love to be outdoors, bicycling, boating, water skiing, and spending time with family and friends. I was previously employed at a local printing company for 27 years, involved in all aspects of the business. I started working at Bakeris Roofing in March 2011 and am very glad to be a part of a team that gives back to the community.

Ben Bakeris

Roofing Specialist

I grew up in Runnells, IA and attended Southeast Polk High School. I continued my education at the University of Iowa, where I received a degree in enterprise leadership with an entrepreneurship certificate. I’m unsure why I continued my education as becoming a roofer was inevitable. As a third-generation roofer, it's basically in my blood, and I'm thrilled to be part of Bakeris Roofing.

In my free time, I enjoy doing hobbies such as hunting, fishing, biking, hiking, and snowboarding. My favorite part about working for Bakeris Roofing is the culture within the company and having the opportunity to educate homeowners on all of their roofing system wants and needs. Before becoming a roofing specialist, I was a roofing tech for four years. I gained hands-on experience and knowledge performing all types of roofing repairs for customers. I look forward to meeting you and helping you out with all your roofing needs.

Bryce Kiester

Roofing Specialist

I have two boys, Aiden and Madden, and one girl, Everlee, and I am engaged to my beautiful fiancé, Audrey. I was born and raised in Altoona, IA by Mark and Karen Kiester. Audrey and I are both proud alumni of Southeast Polk High School. I have been with Bakeris Roofing since 2014 and in the construction industry for over 10 years. I look forward to serving you with your roofing needs!

Tony Bakeris

Job Position

Hi! My name is Tony. I'm here to educate and help you with all your roofing system needs. Want to know more about me? Just Ask! You can ask me about my time playing baseball in Puerto Rico this past January, or you can ask me where my favorite place to travel is. You could even ask why my last name is on the side of the truck. Most importantly, it's imperative that you share your needs and wants with me.

The hardest thing you should have to do is pick a color for your new roof! I'm looking forward to meeting you and working together to solve your roofing needs.

Sam Hager

I grew up in Altoona, IA and attended Southeast Polk High School. After that, I went on to graduate from Grandview University with a degree in business management. I enjoy all types of activities whether they're indoor or outdoor. This includes baseball, fishing, hiking, watching movies, boating, and playing catch to name a few. Most importantly, I love spending time with my family.

I have been with Bakeris Roofing since 2014 and enjoy helping people alleviate their roofing concerns and the inevitable stress that comes along with those concerns. I married Tiffany in 2020, and we have two dogs that we love spending time with. I enjoy being in my workshop completing woodworking projects in my free time. I love learning from others in my field.

Darby Bush

Customer Care Representative

I am a mom of three beautiful spoiled children. My husband and I were married in 2020 and have built a wonderful home together in Clive, IA. We are hoping to someday own some land as we prefer spending time outdoors. On weekends you can find us camping or on our boat. I’ve been blessed to be able to stay home for the last three years and am thrilled to join the Bakeris Team.
